Blogging has grown dramatically over the years. Here are some tools that can benefit bloggers.
Web Platform
WordPress – It is the most preferred platform for bloggers. It’s also great for building a website. It is user-friendly, and several plugins can add advanced functionality to your blog.
Joomla – Another CMS that used to be popular once upon a time. But WordPress seems to have apparently overtaken. I’ve used Joomla in the past, but not a big fan anymore.
Email Marketing Software
Aweber – One of the most popular email marketing softwares. Lets you embed forms, schedule autoresponders, and create campaigns.
Getresponse – Very similar to aweber. However, we’ve found aweber to be more user friendly.
Hosting
Bluehost – We use bluehost for some of our websites. I’ve used this for many years, and have rarely experienced any problems.
Siteground – After a top marketer recommended this to me, I used it for one of my websites. Till now, it’s been good.
Domain Registration
Namecheap – A place to register a domain name for a low price.
Conversion Marketing
Leadpages – It’s a software that helps you create landing pages quickly. It can save you time and money on a web developer.
Clickfunnels – A far more robust tool than just creating landing pages. This software helps you create an entire sales funnel, along with landing pages, website builder, payment gateways, autoresponders, webinars, and much more.
